On April 2nd, 2025, the Department of Physiotherapy at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education – Manamai Campus commemorated *World Autism Awareness Day* by organizing a vibrant **Drawing Competition** for undergraduate students. The event was aimed at raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and encouraging creative expression around the theme of autism.
Students from various UG programs participated with enthusiasm, using art as a powerful medium to depict themes of neurodiversity, acceptance, and empathy. The drawings reflected a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths of individuals with autism, and the importance of community support and inclusion.
The competition was judged by faculty members from the Department of Physiotherapy, who praised the originality and emotional depth showcased in the artworks. Winners were awarded certificates of appreciation, and selected artworks were displayed on campus to continue spreading awareness.
